Slovakia, Romania rely on players' fitness levels in Group E clash

The
2024 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2024 (stylized as UEFA EURO 2024) or simply Euro 2024, is the ongoing 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organised by UEFA for the European men's national teams of its member associations.

Germany hosts the tournament, which is taking place from 14 June 2024 to 14 July 2024.

The tournament comprises 24 teams, with Georgia the only team making their European Championship finals debut.

Ahead of Wednesday's Group E UEFA EURO 2024 tournament matchday 3 match between Slovakia and Romania, there is optimism in the camps of the two sides heading into what is a crucial game for all the teams in Group E.

Aside from Slovakia and Romania, Ukraine and Belgium are also locked on three points after two rounds of matches.

What however has made this game relatively easier is that the two teams, Slovakia and Romania, do not have injury cases to any of their players, unlike the situation in the other teams.

Slovakia and Romanian players all took part in Tuesday evening's last training sessions and are billed for a light walkout around their hotel bases about the time of this report with updates of any fitness issues.
